Wedgefield Community in Florida......

So today my friend, MW, decided that since she is out of work because of spinal surgery maybe she should work on her Avon......she worked hard these last couple of weeks to fill out her books and have them ready to get them out to the public......the public is the community of Wedgefield......hell she is not working, had spinal surgery, can hardly move......but decided that she can get those Avon books out and earn a living........so in between my working and such and since I have a couple of days free, I thought I would help her out some......she is bored and this might help get the hours to go by.......and what the hell we live in the good old United States right.......where entrepreneurship is suppose to be a good thing.....okay let me play the devil advocate here and say.....no one wants to have solicitors come knocking on their doors trying to sell them things.......or the phone calls when you are trying to have dinner......but what is wrong with someone coming around and putting a Avon book on their driveway.....is it really that serious.....can't a mom try to earn just a little something to sustain her family.....guess not in this community.......we passed out 600 Avon books and was done for the day.....when at 1:30 pm today we get a phone call.....it's from the Home Association of Wedgefield......and even though the woman on the other end was nice......and MW was nice back......the Wedgefield community would like you to know there is no solicitation in their community.....and would we if we can please go and collect the books......I really don't think they realized how many books we got out there.....and MW with her spinal surgery isn't going to allow her to walk and bend and pick them up.....I applaud my friend.....she is trying to make some work for herself and to have a life with the hardships.....and Wedgefield needs to be understanding......we won't do it again.....but this is our explanation........LOVE YOU MW.......
